Everything is ready - connect the device over USB-mini B (cable not included), install our free of charge PC software, power up the TEC Controller and get started. The new SKT-1165 v2.2 now brings 40 W cooling capacity (heating and cooling) and thus becomes your competent companion for any thermal experiments.

The Starter Kit SKT-1165 v2.2 is a complete thermal solution. For all who do not want to deal with thermal design, the ideal start.
The Starter Kit v2.2 consists of:
- TEC Controller TEC-1091-NTC-PIN: control of the Peltier element, the fan and display
- Motherboard: To hold the TEC Controller in place and as an interface to the Peltier assembly
- Display DPY-1113: Simple status display
- Peltier assembly for cooling and heating
The modular design of the Starter Kit allows an adaptation at a later moment, according to the own needs. The TEC controller TEC-1091 offers various configuration options, for example an intelligent PID control with integrated autotune function, a lookup function in which you can enter your own temperature cycles and various communication and safety options, such as maximum output currents and voltages to protect the Peltier element.

From firmware version ≥ 6.20, all Meerstetter TEC Controllers offer optional, pay-for software features that make the TEC Controller even more versatile. Try all features free of charge for the first 150 operation hours and then order from the specific feature product page(s).
Please note: The PC Software itself is always free of charge. Only a few advanced features within the software require a license after the first 150 operating hours of the TEC Controller (not of the software).
