From firmware version 2.21 this Meerstetter LDD-130x Service Software also offers pay-for software features that makes the use of your laser diode driver even more versatile. By loading the firmware version 2.21 onto your device (or by buying a new one with FW v2.21) you get the features for the first 150 operating hours as a free trial. After this trial period, you can buy the features on the specific product pages:

  • Feedforward control: Allows the target current to be reached almost instantaneously by using a predictive approach and a characterized model of the load. This makes it particularly suitable for applications with high dynamic requirements.
  • Light Power Control (LPC): Enables precise regulation of the optical laser output by using a photodiode feedback signal and a cascaded PID controller. This ensures stable optical power over time, compensating for temperature changes, device tolerances, and aging effects – ideal for long-term and thermally variable applications.

LDD-130x Service Software is bundled with every purchase of a LDD-130x-Family laser diode driver. It is a powerful tool that allows monitoring, data logging and full configuration of the LDD device via a standard USB or an RS485 connection from a PC running Windows.
