U.S. tariffs reduced to 15% retroactively

The reduction of U.S. tariffs on goods with Swiss origin to a 15% ceiling is now official and applies retroactively from November 14^th, 2025.

Key points of the tariff update

• U.S. import tariffs on goods with Swiss origin have been reduced from 39% to 15%.
• The reduction applies retroactively to goods that were declared for import into the U.S. on or after November 14^th, 2025.

Guidance for your current, new, and postponed orders

With the reduced tariff now confirmed, you may proceed with your order.

Please note that U.S. customs systems may still be in the process of being updated. To help you avoid refund procedures or administrative delays, our Sales Team can assist you in scheduling your shipment so that it is processed once the updated 15% tariff rate is effectively reflected in the U.S. customs systems.

Refunds for tariffs applied to goods declared for import on or after November 14^th, 2025

If your goods were declared for import into the U.S. on or after November 14^th, 2025 and were charged the previous 39% rate, you may be eligible to request a refund of the difference.

Refunds for duties paid at the old rate must be requested directly from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Please contact your customs broker or customs service provider — including providers such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL if they handled the customs entry — to determine the correct procedure.
