We hereby inform you that from now on we offer a new firmware version 1.40 for the Meerstetter Laser Diode Driver LDD-1137.
Therefore, from now on we will send all our new LDD-1137 quotations and order confirmations (and the resulting devices) with firmware version 1.40 as standard.
Order confirmations with different versions as well as your existing specific customer requests will remain valid. If you would like a different firmware version for your LDD-1137, please contact our sales team.
Light Power Control (LPC) now also available for the LDD-1137:
- New as hardware option available and supported by FW v1.40: Light Power Control (LPC) for LDD-1137
- Enables precise laser power control with photodiode currents up to 4 mA
- Supports light control in CW and modulable operation
- Further information can be found in the latest datasheet
Further improvements:
- Photocurrent parameters and graph added
- Pulse sync output delay and length can now be set by the user
- Added parameter to change external input edge detector
- Varios bug fixes

Updating the LDD-1137-Firmware yourself
The firmware can be updated by yourself. Just download the latest software package from our website and install the firmware in the LDD-1137 Configuration Software under the “Device” tab, “Firmware Update” section.
Attention: The new firmware version is only compatible with LDD-1137 hardware versions ≥ HW v1.10.
