New TEC Configuration Software Announcement

We are pleased to announce the new software for our range of TEC Controller devices, the TEC Configuration Software.
Everything you know and love is still there, but we've made it better. Our new software is more user-friendly and offers numerous new features.

From the release of firmware version 6.00, this new TEC Configuration Software will be the new standard software we offer to easily configure our devices.

New Features

• Innovated user interface: Graphically illustrates the application flow of individual parameters.
• Easier to understand: Tooltips will now show additional parameter information about each parameter directly in the application.
• Split bipolar channels into two unipolar channels: The bipolar channels on our devices can now also each be split into two unipolar channels, which offers more setup versatility.
• New graph and real-time graph: You can now see each parameter of our TEC Controllers in the new graphs.
• More inputs/outputs: Some TEC Controllers (TEC-116x) now have additional low resolution temperature inputs and GPIOs available.

Starting from January 1st, 2025 all our new quotations and order confirmations for TEC Controllers (and the resulting devices) will be sent with firmware version 6.00 as the default. Devices with firmware version 6.00 are tied to the new TEC Configuration Software. All order confirmations with a different version will remain valid, as will be existing specific customer requests.

If you require a different firmware version for your TEC Controllers, please contact our sales team. Devices with firmware < v6.00 must be used with the previous TEC Service Software.

As a valued existing customer, you can already order the new firmware version 6.00 for your new devices and download the new TEC Configuration Software from our website for testing with your existing devices. Instructions on how to update your existing devices to the new firmware version 6.00 can be found in the TEC-Family User Manual (chapter 2.5.2)

Please take note that downgrading from firmware version 6.00 to an older version can only be done with the remote assistance of a Meerstetter Engineering employee.
