We hereby inform you that we have made a minor hardware update to our TEC Controllers TEC-1161-4A (2x ±4 A / ±21 V) and TEC-1161-10A (2x ±10 A / ±21 V).
Once the stock of the current HW v1.20 (TEC-1161-4A) and HW v1.21 (TEC-1161-10A) has been depleted, the new hardware version 1.30 will be delivered as standard from around March 2026.
The new hardware v1.30 is available immediately upon request but must be specified when ordering.
Hardware changes
For hardware version 1.30, the bootstrap resistor was changed and a snubber circuit was added to improve EMC bahavior.
The new hardware version is 100% software compatible with the previous version of the TEC-1161-4A and TEC-1161-10A and serves as a 1:1 replacement for older versions. We expect that you will not notice any difference compared to the current hardware version. All firmware versions from v4.20 onwards can be used with the new TEC-1161-4A and TEC-1161-10A Hardware v1.30.
