We hereby inform you that from now on we offer a new firmware version 1.30 for the Meerstetter Laser Diode Driver LDD-1321.
Therefore, from now on we will send all our new LDD-1321 quotations and order confirmations (and the resulting devices) with firmware version 1.30 as standard.
Order confirmations with different versions as well as your existing specific customer requests will remain valid. If you would like a different firmware version for your LDD-1321, please contact our sales team.
The most important changes:
- Accuracy of NTC temperature calculation increased.
- New parameter “Always off after Reset” ID 2140 to disable the LDD output after every reset or power cycle.
- HW Enable removed from the LDD and TEC Output Enable parameter (ID 2000 and 2100). The GPIO functions now directly change these parameters.
- Added error 188 “reset required”. If a parameter is changed which requires a reset to apply the device goes into error state now. This tells the user to reset the device and avoids confusion regarding the state of parameters.
- Various bug fixes

Updating the LDD-1321-Firmware yourself
The firmware can be updated by yourself. Just download the latest software package from our website install the firmware in the service software under the “Maintenance” tab, “Device Boot Loader” section.
Attention: The new firmware version is only compatible with LDD-1321 hardware versions ≥ HW v1.10.
