Detailed Description

With this small web application it is possible to assemble and disassemble command strings for the proprietary Meerstetter MeCom protocol without having to connect to a device. This can prove useful if the user wants to get or set a parameter value via a serial terminal application or via a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Furthermore, on Chromium-based browsers like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge it is also possible to connect directly to a Meerstetter device and send the generated commands to it.

Many PLCs cannot run any of the Meerstetter APIs, however, most PLCs will offer the option of sending command strings to their connected devices, which is why many customers are interested in an easy and effortless way to get the command strings to interact with Meerstetter devices.
