We often received questions about it and now we’re letting it out: we are happy to preannounce our latest development, the LDD-1137. We preannounce it in the hope of helping you plan.

The LDD-1137 is the flagship of the next generation of laser diode drivers and serves as technological foundation for much more in our development pipeline. The LDD-1137 unites the experience of our previous LDD generations, customer requests and technologies newly available on the market.

The main features are the fast processor/FPGA, shorter pulses, steeper flanks and more power. The proven features are retained – for example the stable MeCom protocol, for an easy integration in your system.

At a glance:

• 0 to minimum 60 V output voltage
• 0 to at least 60 A output current with ripple smaller than 0.2%
• Pulse rise time << 100 ns with a resistive load
• High efficiency above 94%
• Various interfaces: USB 2.0, 2x RS485, Ethernet, CAN, I2C and more
