The LTC-1142 is our newest combined laser diode driver with onboard TEC controller and powerful features for measurement applications.
The controller offers the advantage to have just one device for simultaneous laser diode driving, sampling, data processing and laser diode or sensor cooling.
The internal signal generator and lookup-table-defined waveforms make the controller suitable for laser excited measurements. The fast analog input allows sampling of the result – e.g. using a photodiode – on the same device. The powerful processing system (FPGA and processor) facilitates the analysis and processing of the measured data.
